CONSULTING

I am an artist. I am also a consultant, a narrative change strategist, and a community cultivator. I employ my expertise in socially engaged projects to build resilient coalitions that can effectively impliment system change. I excel in orchestrating logistically complex projects that engage diverse communities and reimagine inequitable systems. My approach is human-centered and employs joy.

As Co-founder and Director of the Walla Walla Immigrant Rights Coalition’s (WWIRC) Colectivo de Arte Social, I collaboratively initiate impactful projects like The Listeners Project: Queremos Escucharte, which amplifies marginalized voices from the Walla Walla Valley, Washington. I also serve as a project coordinator and thought partner for education philanthropists and innovators in California increasing equity for multilingual learners and re-envisioning High School curriculum. Those current collaborative partnerships include the Emerging Bilingual Collaborative and English Learners Workforce Investment (EL-WIN) initiative in the Central Valley, as well as the Stuart Foundation’s Youth Thriving for Learning Fund (YTL) in Oakland. Since January 2025, I have also served as WWIRC’s Narrative Change Strategist, utilizing my expertise to foster system change regionally and state wide.

I hold an MFA in Art + Social Practice from Portland State University, a Post Baccalaureate in Fiber + Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BA from Macalester College. Currently, I have a five-year appointment as a Research Associate at Whitman College Department of Art conducting community-engaged artistic research that manifest as innovative public projects rooted in public art, creative pedagogy, oral history, and social action.
